GW28: The Verdict

Green arrows all around today. Time to find out how good things really are.

The Verdict is about analysis of my players based on their score, combined with their underlying stats from a particular Gameweek. More explanation to follow.

This section was actually quite tricky to make because players brought in have expectations about them, highlighted by their projected score. Since this is part of the personal record, there will be 2 tables to deliver the verdict on these players. The first table will be the underlying stats for each player based on their individual games.

Based on these stats, their actual score is compared to their projected score.

The rule is to keep the Delivers and the Gems, Monitor the Lucky and the Unlucky, and drop the Flops.

Delivers: Zaba, Fellaini, Walcott, Bale, Suarez, RVP

Unlucky: Sissoko

Lucky: Zabaleta

Expecteds: Benteke, Wilson, Turner

Flops: Clyne, Mata

Not Playing/Injured: Federici

Conclusion: Projected big scores give big scores. I mean, all the big hitters delivered bar Mata, who is going through this worry dip in form now. Nevertheless, Mata cappers aside everyone that is still active should get high enough scores, with Suarez cappers probably standing head above the clouds a bit.

To monitor: I've decided to keep Clyne due to (A) His rotation schedule with NOR and STO is fantastic (hence the Wilson transfer), (B) I'm still keen on watching Southampton as a growing force to survive the drop. Mata is another case however, but he does have REALLY, REALLY good fixtures after the break to redeem himself.
