GW23: The Verdict.

GG.com. Sold Puncheon for Walcott. Just goes to show that greed(?) is good. Annoyed at Hazard owners.

The Verdict is about analysis of my players based on their score, combined with their underlying stats from a particular Gameweek. More explanation to follow.

This section was actually quite tricky to make because players brought in have expectations about them, highlighted by their projected score. Since this is part of the personal record, there will be 2 tables to deliver the verdict on these players. The first table will be the underlying stats for each player based on their individual games.

Based on these stats, their actual score is compared to their projected score.

The rule I guess, is to keep the Delivers and the Gems, Monitor the Lucky and the Unlucky, and drop the Flops.

Not Playing/Injured:

Conclusion: I believe that with a projected 46 and a delivered 54 isn't too bad. BUT having said that, the lesson learnt here is to not chase prices. I did the Walcott transfer too early because of unnecessary greed and I lost out. So the plan for GW24 is: WAIT FOR THE WATCHLIST.

Speaking of the Watchlist, Baines + Gerrard from the watchlist both prospered, but only modestly. With no cash to move for the two I should've just stayed put with Puncheon's DGW and Tim Krul's clean sheet. An amateurish mistake from a greedy player. Please learn from my mistakes guys.

To monitor: With no flops and injuries, it was just a real shame that the Turnbull move didn't pay off. Next to ship out will be Walcott (blech) followed by Ruiz possibly. Wigan are coming into form way to early this year.
